The Aventine at Boynton Beach, just off Woolbright looks nice online. Is it a good place for a young person to live and is it a safe place/area?

Just saw that no one had answered your post so I'll give you my 2 cents. I lived at Aventine until May when I left Florida. It is a young and very friendly community. But, like every apartment community there, they are renting to anyone to fill the places up and the quality of people has gone down. Also, they do not spray the grounds there so you don't even want to open your windows or use your patio, which is a waste in south Florida, because living in that climate, at least to me, means enjoying the outdoors. Most communities spray the grounds so that is not an issue. Not true of Aventine. Also, you must remember east Boynton is a bit of a ghetto. I would not live there again. Just my opinion - good luck!

We looked there when my niece was moving to the area. We were extremely disappointed. The pricing advertised was not available and the area around the apartments was very unattaractive and run down. Parking is in a parking garage. The corriders inside the apartment building seem to run in a spiderweb fashion, seem narrow and not well lit. We were not satisfied with security there. Everything there is newly built. It is a condo revert to apartments because the condos did not sell. The bottom floor designated for business store fronts were all empty but one. I would suggest you look elsewhere. Like previous post...it is just my opinion. Don't sign a lease anywhere until you've seen it for yourself.

Hey. I totally apologize for my previous post re: Aventine. I had Aventine confused with my impressions of Las Ventanas. I have not visited Aventine and do not have any direct knowledge of that complex.
