I've lived here iin KY all of my life and I just really wonder where folks get their drivers training at~! Why can't folks use the correct turn signal. Having a left turn signal does not indicate your turning right, but I've seen this quite a few times lately. Then why do folks have to drive in both lanes and weave in out out of them over the lines barely, do they not know to stay in the middle between the lines~? I don't wish to have a wreck but this idiot in a Lexus today sure just weaved over the line like they were going to get in my lane and then as soon as I was coming on the right,( in the right lane) here they come over the line like they were going to change lanes without a signal. People sure drive safer in Florida than here~!!

I am going to have to disagree LOL I lived in the Louisville area for 25 years before returning to Florida and I will take Ky drivers over Fl drivers any day of the week. Everyone down here drives as if they are entitled and where they have to be is much more important than anyone else. Also I am beginning to believe all cars sold in Fl come without turn signals.

I recently was down there again, and they did drive fast but safer than they do here. The drivers have changed here in the past years drastically. I didn't experience many weaving in and out of traffic like they do here without signals, but many don't use signals here either. I did have to blow my horn a few times there but not as often as I do here. I also was not using the highway system there since they do drive too fast for me. I did accidentally get on the toll road and had a trucker on my tail and he passed me up within inches of me which scared me~!

As much as I love S. FL, many people cannot drive worth the darn here. I see more bad drivers in one day here than years living in TN. I maybe used my horn twice in the years I lived in TN and NC, I use it at least twice here everyday it seems.

It is not that they do not know how to drive, it is they just do not care.

LOL! You guys are funny... and here I am thinking there couldn't be worse drivers than South FL. It's true, most drivers down here don't think and don't care. Everyone feels entitled to which part of the road they want to be without any qualms whatsoever. Such is not the case in Northeast FL (Jacksonville and the likes). There may be crazy drivers once while but road courtesy is still followed there. Now, SC & NC are entirely a different story. They drive waaay too slow there (no offense intended). If the speed limit is 45mph, expect people to drive 35mph. That happens on I95 too!

They drive a bit more aggressive/fast in Asheville than the NC/SC you are explaining...and certainly not 10 under the speed limit. Maybe it depends on where you are in the state. But I travel interstate 26 a lot and I'm going 60mph in a 55 and I'm routinely passed.

After being there for almost 2 months, I felt like I lived there~! I've been on the toll road this time by accident, but last year when I was there I meant to get on it. It was fast in some areas on it. I've heard too many news reports about accidents on I-95, so I dare not to get on it. The main road to Miami, Federal Hwy I think was fast and crazy enough for me.
