Hi, I am from NYC and am looking to purchase a condo in South Florida. I have seen properties in Boca Bayou, the Montecito building in City Place, and Flagler Pointe. My goal is to rent to snow birds and use the condo for myself during down time, so I'm looking for a place that would be the easiest to rent for a good price. Does anyone have any input on any of these properties? I read an article that Montecito is pretty noisy because of the tri-rail.. would love to hear from anyone who has information on that. Thanks so much!

I think the Montecito wouldn't be too noisy for you. The google reviews don't mention the tracks either. I haven't personally sold in there before but I haven't had a buyer say 'no its too noisy' during our showings or heard that from other residents while there.

I was in the building and saw two apartments. I didn't hear the train go through while I was there. When I did a google search, a bunch of articles came up about the residents putting in noise complaints, one of the stories was just published in November. Apparently, the repair station is right behind the building so you hear them working with the equipment at all hours of the night. I don't think the seller would ever admit that so I would love to hear from a resident in the building or someone that knows something about this.
