I'm from ft. pierce, but I'm looking for some cheap apartments in west palm, but I don't know a safe place that has apartments over there. Does anyone here from Palm Beach know where they are?

I am originally from the Ft. Pierce area. What is your price range? Where in Ft. Pierce do you live now? Where in Ft. Pierce do you consider "safe"? How old are you? What kind of atmosphere are you looking for in an apartment? Knowing the answers to these questions would help give you a better suggestion.

Well, I'm looking for something cheap, so the price range I'm looking for is between $500-700? I live on the northside of ft. pierce. I'm 19 looking for something more city like with nightlife.

That's pretty lowend as far as price. You're not going to be able to get into a nice building downtown for that so I think you're best bet is probably going to be somewhere a little to the west. Prices are significantly higher here than Ft. Pierce. You can probably get a 1/1 at some place like Riverbridge west of the city for that though. I lived there for a couple of years. It's not fancy, but it's decent and not all that dangerous. There are probably others in that area that are in your price range as well. Anything closer to the city for that price I would be skeptical about. If you do end up moving to that area, try to find a place with good access to Southern Blvd as it is the fastest way into the Downtown area from out there.

Stay away from the Lake Worth corridor. The area between Okeechobee Blvd on the north, Lantana Rd on the south, and the western edge of Greenacres. High crime area.

It looks like my dad and I are probably moving into St. Andrews apartments in WPB, it was on very short notice and I really don't have much choice now.

I hope the complex is okay and there isn't too much crime in that area. This is where it is

Nice area. You should be happy there. The more west, usually the nicer. Also, you're not far from a beautiful newer mall Wellington Green which is off of 441 and Forest Hill Blvd.
