Hello all,

I'm looking for asian grocery stores. The closer to Boca Raton the better.

Thanks so much!

My wife is Vietnamese and the best Vietnamese market by far is Vinh Hung at 2845 N. Military Trail. Pretty small compared to what we had in Denver, but they have most of the stuff we need for reasonable prices and the meats and produce are very fresh.

The Asian Food & Gift Market is HUGE - and has everything. I cook Korean food mostly. Their address is:
3280 W Hillsboro Blvd
Deerfield Beach, FL 33442
954-421-7263

Also, in Boca, there's a smaller place but also very nice:
7875 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL
(561) 997-7889‎

Is this place run by 2 Vietnamese ladies?

My Wife is from Vietnam too. I lived there for almost 2 years ( 2000-2002 ) full time. In fact I didn't see another American for a year and then flew back to the states only to be searched at the airport in LA. I was happy to fly back to Asia after that adventure.

Hey, that's awesome, except for the getting searched part. Welcome back to the land of the free, etc. You probably speak better Vietnamese than me. I can understand a lot and I'm pretty good with the food lingo, lol.

The market I was talking about is run by a couple. They are really nice. But, there is this newer place, Food Town, on the corner of 45th and Military Trail. It's a huge Asian/Caribbean market. Check it out, it's pretty awesome.
