Well after what i have seen and heard about Petersburg it does look like a ideal place to live. Is there anyone out there that knows more about the town and can tell me how it is?
I've been considering Petersburg for a while for its climate, especially its recent history of low snowfall amounts, but I noticed that Petersburg's annual snowfall number jumped HUGE this year. Was there an unusually large snowfall this year, or had there just been unusually small snow amounts in recent prior years?
Lmasters--what are you looking for in a small town. Not much large commercialization in that area but it is beautiful country.
TBetz--previous years were smaller amounts as this area can receive heavy snowstorms. The superstorm Sandy did create a great amount to the increase, though.
I like the Grant/Hardy County area of WV. If you love hunting/fishing and other outdoor activities and living in the peace and quiet of nature, you should love it.
If you want nightlife and bar scenes--forget about it.
Petersburg has one of the nicest town parks/recreation Area I've ever seen. Beautiful little town.
