Hello -

I recently visited the Wheeling area and really liked it. I have been looking for IT jobs around there area, but I feel like there just isn't a whole lot of anything in the area. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of some of the employers in the area?

Thanks.

There's also a call center in Moundsville, 12 miles south of Wheeling. You might also check with the several local colleges and universities on both sides of the river... Wheeling Jesuit, West Virginia Northern, West Liberty, Bethany, Belmont Technical, Franciscan University in Steubenville, and whatever the new name is for the former Jefferson Technical College in Steubenville. Washington, PA is also an easy commute from Wheeling and they have Washington and Jefferson College there.

The universities are a good place to look, but generally the economy is truly awful.

I would agree and say stick to the universities. That's your best bet. I think the closest IT jobs to Wheeling, other than the universities, would be in Pittsburgh.
