The bureaucrats and politicians will ignore this non-biased independent study, but if they would only listen to it and the cause of the problems this state as a whole would be better off.

I'm reposting the link because that one doesn't work. This article is spot on. One of the reasons we are always fighting it out with Mississippi for last place is the growing number of bloated bureaucracies in Charleston sucking the lifeblood out of every endeavor.
Nowhere is that more evident than with the bozos running around the state Department of Education pretending to be experts on everything and mostly not knowing their butts from holes in the ground. They could easily reduce the number of inept fat cats by 2/3 and probably acccomplish more if they replaced them with carefully chosen people instead of cronies and nepotism. I know one family that managed to get 4 members into that morass of incompetence.
