Ok, must be no history in Rev. War. But I guess online or libraries have more info, as books from way back (even early 1900s) may detail history a bit. I thought Gen. Lewis was a Rev. War person & unsure but will recheck it. If anyone at all knows anything re history during the founding of US back then, & Lburg's involvement, it'd be nice to know if so.

Specifically what are you interested in? That area was settled to some degree by the Revolutionary War period, but I don't believe that it was politically or materially vital to the war. There was probably some British-American-Native American interaction that played into the war.

Gorgeous area, and quite historic - Lewisburg is noted more for its Civil War history, and many of its houses and other structures date to that time or before. Visit the historic, antique-furnished General Lewis Inn there if you can - if it's not your cup of tea for overnight, at least enjoy a traditional and ample meal in the dining room, which is the oldest part of the Inn. The owners can tell you all about the history of the Inn, which is family-owned, and of the area.
