We are looking to move to Bluefield this summer. What are some good neighborhoods to live in with children? What places should we avoid?

If in Bluefield, WV, look at the South Bluefield neighborhoods (like Oakhurst Ave and the immediate area surrounding it). I would avoid the area around the train tracks down by Princeton Ave (aka Route 19). I would also avoid Union St.

I’m not as familiar with Bluefield, VA, but I know the Sedgewood subdivision is pretty nice.

What state are you coming from?
