I've posted earlier about moving to West virginia or eastern kentucky. I have asked about inclussion because we will want to make new friends. We were told that it is possible that my sons' rare, excruciatingly painful seizures might be helped through the lower altitude [we are at 6700 feet here] We will be spending some time at my oldest sons' house before making decisions.
What I did not mention is that my youngest son and I are both Autistic. We are nice people, ussually pretty quiet. We tend to "lose our words' which causes us to someimes speak verrrrrrry slowwlllly. and, I guess we're weird.
CBD oil with less than 3% thc takes the edge off my sons seizures [sometimes] and I know that so far it is sill illegal in kentucky, one reason I am looking in West virginia.
Another major problem is we have 3 beautiful Nigerian dwarf goats iso I really want to stay in an area that is in Weat Virginia but near eastern kentucky so that we can live near oldest son[ husband and I are retired and old and want youngest son to be near family after we are gone.
Can anyone give advice? Probably our top price would be 175.000 and we would love living in an area where outsiders {Colorado, and NO, where we live there are NO colorado crazy house prices] are accepted so long as we are polite and bake cookies for the neighbors.
Somewhere in the Huntington area would probably suit your needs. You’d be close to Eastern KY and could likely find what you are looking for in terms of a home with some land. The people here are welcoming and there’s a good amount of stuff that goes on here to give you opportunities for interaction with others. With your son’s seizures, he could be followed by Marshall Neurology if you’d like. There are also good services here through the Autism Services Center if you would need that kind of support as well. If you need any further info, just let me know.
