As a voting resident of WV there is no way, no how that i will vote for obama. these people that claim the democrats are for the working man are still living in the 50's. I have been a union man my whole career and i never voted for a democrat president. They are the opposite of most of my beliefs.

Will be interesting to see which way WV goes - sure looks too close to call.

What's the weather forecast for election day? The weather always makes a difference in how many people actually go to the polls.

Anyone catch John Stossel on 20/20 last night? It was good - was about how the govt should get out of the every day business of the citizens, how things get done quicker by The People when govt is not involved, the corn subsidies, etc.

The economists on the show made more sense than any politician has in years. I say when we go to vote we all write in the name of Walter Williams - he's a free market economist who made a lot more sense than the guys in DC or either of the candidates.

"For nearly a century, no Democrat has won the White House without winning West Virginia."

This is a very broad and very naive generalization made by someone trying to predict the outcome of the 2008 Presidential election. The fact of the matter is that nobody knows who is going to win, so sit back, relax, eat a car or two and watch the earthlings bet entire paychecks on something they know nothing about. The funniest thing about this whole Presidential thingy is that the narrow-minded earthlings think it's between two earthling men.

Silly, silly earthlings!

Facts to bear in mind:

Logan is NOT the whole state. It's not even a major component of the whole state!

There will be three names on the ballot, not just two. SURPRISE!!!

Just judging from the signs and talking to folks, Obama is going to carry Mercer and Summers Cos.

Early voting is open in Mercer Co at the courthouse in Princeton. Go on a sunny day if that's what it takes to get you to vote.

Deregulation of the banking industry is how we got into the worst recession in history since the depression. So there is two sides to that coin.

It's a moot point since the bail out has made our country socialistic. So we'll just have to wait and see how that works out for us.

What? Somebody is listening to economists? I think that makes two of us against the hordes. What state do you live in?

It's possible economists will disappear under the new socialist regime of Obama thuggery under some trumped up threat to national security because they have historically proposed using common sense, weapons of mass intelligence, and are known perpetrators of educating the populace.

Looks like a good read. Things nobody cares about, i.e., Constitution, Declaration of Independence, etc.

". . Immigration has always been a blessing for us, and it still is. But yesteryear’s immigration and today’s differ in several important respects. For the most part, yesteryear’s immigrants came here legally. Because there was no welfare state, we were guaranteed that they’d work as opposed to living off the rest of us. Furthermore, they sought to assimilate and adopt our culture and become Americans. That’s not so true today, where Hispanic activists seek to impose their language and culture on the rest of us. At some public schools, they’ve raised the Mexico flag atop the U.S. flag. They’ve announced that they seek to take back parts of the U.S. that were formerly Mexico."

Well lady, here's some recommended reading :

This court case clearly questions Obama's qualifications under our Constitution to run for the Office of President.
Obama Crimes

Individuals, mind you, not the supposed journalism we read, have tracked how many different birth certificates his website have posted, and the Israelis have proved time and again, these are fraudulent documents. Obama has never produced a valid birth certificate, and the organization which refutes this, "factcheck . org", is a financial supporter of Obama.

The media at large won't touch the story, and that's a statement unto itself. There are unanswered questions about Barack Hussien Obama a/k/a
BARRY SOETORO
BARRY OBAMA
BARACK DUNHAM
BARRY DUNHAM

Fact :
Illinois should disbar him as an attorney because he did include prior names used on his bar application.
Fact :
Texas should remove, by law, both McCain and Obama from the ballot since neither filed in time (yet another story the media at large wouldn't touch). The Texas Supreme Court dismissed the case filed by Bob Barr without reason, which is to say, "go **** yourself." The law broke its covenant with the citizen.

I don't if you've ever read this thing called "The Declaration of Independence", but a similar course of events regarding law, are what prompted this.

The more you dig, the worse it gets.

The "New World Order" is Communism . . whoo hoo!

Was wondering why you stated that in reply to the quote. I haven't looked it up myself but the word has it that it is a historical fact.

Anyone game for doing the research?

The only thing as crazy as a socialist is a libertarian. Free market economics is as frightening as Marxism. Hell, look at Somalia. It's the only Laissez-faire economy on the planet. It makes the USSR under Stalin look like a utopia.

The more mixed the economy, the better. For every fear you have of big government, what an all powerful wealth class would do is twice as frightening. I might be the only person on Earth that rather enjoys the fact that there are conservatives and liberals out there keeping the other guy's idiotic ideas in check.
