I hope you have found a place to rent in Bruceton by now. I have lived here for 5 years now, moving here from Morgantown . I hate to see someone bad mouthing such a wonderful place to live. The winters have absolutely been nothing in the past five years, the roads are plowed, I have never had any problems. No roads have ever been closed. There are many families living in Bruceton, especially from Morgantown because it is too crowded with students and traffic, and they don't take care of the roads there. Many prison guards families live out here also, if not most. Nobody uses skis in Bruceton to get around, and definitely don't go to Kingwood because Rt. 26 from Kingwood to Bruceton is a horrible drive, hardly anyone in Bruceton goes to Kingwood. You would be better off looking towards Deep Creek Lake in Maryland or Route 40 in PA if you can't find anything in Bruceton area. The Preston Co Penny Saver is local paper to look for rentals.
