Waterlily, I have lived on the Oregon and the Washington coast. I loved both areas. I have been in Huntington for the past 14 years. I've read all the replies here and have to say I agree with all of them, the good, the bad and the very ugly. Most of the people I have met are very nice, some are not, most of the towns and cities I have lived in are great but they all have features I would like to see improve. Drugs are a problem everywhere, if we eat the wrong food we get fat and sometimes struggle with our weight and health and sometimes get away with no problems, just try to improve what you can and be ready to move on when you want a change.

The "best" city is in the eye of the beholder. It is not possible to accurately answer the topic line of this thread. It depends on individual preferences.
