recommendations on nice motels?? (Clarksburg, Bridgeport: motel, area, phone number)

We will be coming down WV end of june, can anyone suggest a nice motel in the Reader area and Spencer area??I would appreciate any good suggestions and thank-you...you all seem very informative and helpful down WV way.Once again thank-you.

The closest motels to Reader would be in New Martinsville; the next closest would be in the Clarksburg/Bridgeport area (the other end of the "Shortline").

I stayed last fall at an Amerihost motel in New Martinsville, but I can't find it on the web now. I think Amerihost may have merged with a chain called Baymont.

Well then, Thanks to Linda G...I didn't get anywhere on my classmates with info on WV.So thought i would try here, and has helped alot.Facebook wasn't much better everyone there I talk to, have never been to WV.Now if I could get info on a nice place to stay close to Spencer??

Google Maps shows only 1 motel in Spencer, the Grandview, but several chain motels are in Ripley, about 30 minutes west on US-33.

Thanks, snorpus,that I did, the Boggs Grandview motel in Spencer.Really looking forward to coming down that way.What are you winters like down there? I know thay gotta be better then here. They are wayyyyyyy to long up here in up-state. I love Vegas winters, but don't care for Vegas, was there 17 yrs. Maybe a happy in between.
