I am a 24 year old college graduate from NC. I have been working as an administrative assistant since June. I moved to WV with my husband, when he was offered a job in Germantown MD we could not refuse. I would really like to get into the Human Resources field, as that is what my degree is in. I have been offered a job as a Human Resource Specialist at a local casino, but it would be a pay cut.

I think only you can answer that question. None of us know your financial situation. Switching jobs and getting the experience in the field you desire may be beneficial in the long run. Weigh your option and see where you want to be in say 10 years from now.

If it's at all financially feasible, I'd recommend putting your degree to work right away. If you try to get into HR, say 10 years from now, it might be hard to explain why you pursued a different career for so long.

I have always been told that it is easier to find a job if you already have one. The key is "financially feasible".
Actual take-home pay sometimes does not vary as much as some people think. You do the math and see what can happen. Isn't there some new federal government office opening up in Berkeley County? Government jobs are good jobs in today's economy.
I still feel it would be better to work in your field and keep looking. Also, you never know what opportunities will open up for promotions in the new job.

Thanks for all of the helpful advice. I really want to start my career in the HR field, but at the same time I like being able to save up money. I guess i will flip a coin.

Personally as someone whose job is up and down with this economy and not too many options for me personally, I would say go with what you you have been offered, even if it is a paycut. Hopefully your husband makes enough to supplement the income you would make. Some people might disagree, but in this economy beggars can't be choosers. If there is something concrete I'd go with it. You can always weigh your options later.
