I have two very long time girlfriends coming out from CA for a weekend in NYC. They will arrive on a red-eye on a Thursday morning in October and would like to hang around at my house, in Chappaqua, that first day before we head into the city the next day.
I am posting to ask for ideas on how to spend the day with them. When we have met in NYC in the past, I have been coming from Europe and we have all been jet-lagged: we usually schedule a spa for the first day.
It would be great to know favorite spas, restaurants, anything unique/special/pretty that two chicks from CA might enjoy seeing.
There is a FAB food reflexology spa in Mount Kisco. I was used to having reflexology when I lived in Asia and this one is run by mainland Chinese and they are AMAZING. Its a bit dark and there is no chatting - unless there is no one else there but it would certainly wind you all down before a nice lunch ... or before a mani and pedi...or maybe after a stroll around Rockafella Estate ??
