Hi there - we're looking into these schools as a possibility for DD.
We're interested in hearing about the real life experiences from a parent's point of view. The school websites are helpful, but would like a "real" opinion.
Any and all info would be appreciated.
I'm not sure how old your daughter is, but when I was in Catholic school, it was common for a prospective student to spend a day shadowing another student to get a feel for the school. Do the schools allow that?
My son transferred from a Catholic school in Yonkers to St Marks in the fifth grade they had smaller class sizes and they didn't beat you over the head with religion, and he enjoyed his stay there that was five years ago,
My DD will be 4 when starting school next Sept. We've visited St Eugene's already and will be visiting St Mark's after the new year. We like what each school offers but are interested in ny first hand experiences which would help make the decision. Of course if anyone has any other school recommendations, we're open to that too. We live in the Lincoln Park section of Yonkers.
