We are considering relocating to the NY/Ct. area. My husband would be working downtown, NY. We have a current 7th grader who is very bright but having difficulties in school due to organizational issues associated with his ADHD and he also has issues with auditory processing and dysgraphia(writing issues). I have looked online at a couple of interesting schools, albeit expensive. One is Forman in Litchfield the other is the Storm King School in Cornwall-on Hudson in NY. Does anyone know anything about either of these schools or any other good private or particularly good public schools in the area servicing these kinds of issues? We've been very frustrated trying to find a good school that understands his issues and knows how to accomodate him but also teach him how to learn to accomodate himself in the future.....we don't just want his hand held!!! Thanks!!!
