I'm coming up to NY next weekend with my DH & 17 yr old son. We'd like to stay around the White Plains area. Can anyone recommend a clean, safe & decently priced hotel for a 3 night stay? We're looking to spend about $100, give-or-take, per night. We moved from Carmel, NY 3 yrs ago & know the area well, just don't know what hotels are still out there.
well, there's the new ritz-carlton in white plains. don't know if they have any specials but rooms usually run about $200/nite.
your best bet might be to go to tripadvisor.com and do a geographic search by zip code & the list will come back with lots of feedback from travelers. i've used this before & found it pretty reliable.
Rosie there are alot of hotels along route 119 in Tarrytown. The courtyard marriot, marriot spring hill suites, hampton inn(?), Sheraton and a few others. I 2nd somersmom's advice, good luck!
Thanks!! We're coming up kind of last-minute so we're looking for something that under $100 per night. We were able to get reservations for the LaQunita Inn in Armonk. It got some decent, new reviews on Trip Advisor.
