Now before everybody gets hostile and negative. I am aware that the tourism industry is down from what it was and that gas prices can definitely slow the inflow of tourist. i've been in the service industry for a while now in columbia sc but wondering how the job market is fairing up there in asheville . Im currently working at ruths chris down here so i know i can easily get a job at an average joint but curious as to where the better places to work are there if any of u guys are in the industry.

I have always enjoyed asheville and figured i'd move here for the clean mountain air since ive developed bad allergies here in columbia. something about the area maybe it sits in a valley and everything settles here or what but never had allergies till i came here.

also i would imagine that some of the jobs would be seasonal or that it would be feast in the summer and famine in the winter kind of scenerio. but im ok with that if there is enough money to be made in the summer/fall to sustain me till winter clears

There is a Ruths Chris under construction in Biltmore Village. Maybe you could get in on that?
