We have lived in Eastern NC for 8 yrs. and never been to the Mountains. We would like to take a trip possibly this Fall with our dog. She is an 80 lb. white Samoyed who loves road trips and people. We would welcome any sug. about renting cabins and sites that we can go on that would be enjoyable for the 3 of us. Thanks for your help.
I haven't stayed here yet but am looking to in August. These cabins in beautiful Valle Crucis look wonderful and some are pet friendly with great elevation. http://www.logcabinrentals.com/index.php
Our wonderful friends own the only dog-friendly B&B in the Asheville area - it's called B&B at Ponder Cove - it is gorgeous there and they don't just allow dogs - they love dogs - enjoy!
