Hi guys, just arrived in NC, in Asheville and still looking for a nice location for the apartment. I'm going to stay for a couple of years and i'm single, so in the mean while I'm trying to meet new people and find some friend to talk with. Do you have a bar or something else to meet easily people for chatting? I don't like to be alone in new places.

I signed up at meetup but u have to pay for some of their service. I'm not sure if u have to pay to attend a meetup or how the money works, because it always costs to organize these things.
Just walk around downtown Asheville, got to the festivals, the drum circle and other events. You'll meet people. Any hobbies? That's how my husband and I met most of our friends is from our hobbies.
If you're business minded there's always Rotary Clubs - usually an "older" crowd - but great for networking and meeting the business leaders of town.

Wow. I looked through that list and didn't see one thing that would interest me! But my interests lie more with music and dog showing so.......
Davide, what do you like to do in your spare time? Any hobbies? Enjoy and sports? If you didn't find anything on that list (and it's a pretty big list) then maybe one of us can point you in the right direction
I will find a gym for martial art as soon i find one apartment. For the moment i can only go for drinking and eating...any of you wonna join a beer in some "cool" place?
