So some time in ''the future'' SC might widen the road...meanwhile NC wastes money widening a road,building two bridges for a road that isn't really needed.

At least I haven't heard anyone who thinks it is.

I'm all for safe roads and planning for future needs.

What I'm against is spending billions of dollars widening rural roads across the state, then turning around and saying there's no money for more important projects, such as the I-26 connector and widening.
