I have lived in the development since the beginning (December 2005) and find it to be a safe and enjoyable place to live. It is in an established neighborhood and you have the same convenience as if you were living in Biltmore Forest - but without the price tag. Appeldoorn was built as affordable housing and it continues to be just that. Much attention was paid to the landscaping and there are plenty of mature trees and plants to enjoy as well as nice mountain views from many of the units. Diversity is a plus for us and we appreciate having that in a neighborhood. It is less than 3 miles to the hospital and only 1 1/2-2 to Biltmore Village. It is a pet friendly community.
Any latest reviews on these apartments? What kind of neighbors are there? Is this not a nice neighborhood or has the area improved since the last reviews on this site in 2011? I am considering moving into this neighborhood but not sure.
