go to Whitewater rafting on the Nantahala, Ocoee, Chattooga, Pigeon, French Broad, Nolichucky and Cheoah Rivers with NOC, they sun 7 rivers in the area of NC, TN, GA

Id Recommend Section 3 of the Chattooga, or Section 4 if your a little More Adventurist

Ok thanks. Has anyone been on the nolichucky river? I would prefer 3-4 rapids and pretty scenery. I'm going to look into section 3 and 4 of the chatooga river. Thanks again!

I've been rafting twice on the Nolichucky with USA Raft, 2 Jones Branch Rd, Erwin TN. We did 1/2 day trips. NC Rafting, TN. Whitewater Rafting in Asheville & Boone NC & Johnson City, TN. USA Raft. 1-866-USA-Raft. www.usaraft.net Both times were fantastic & the guides are all really well-trained & fun. The scenery is stunning & the rapids get a bit hairy in a couple of places, but that's what makes it a 3-4(depending on water level). I would go every day if I could!! I hope you go & have a great time.

The Chatooga, Cheoah, and Nolichucky are beautiful, but are rain dependent, so it's hit or miss. The Ocoee has predictable releases and has class III-IV rapids.

Thank to all that replied. I finally got my resevation booked for Tuesday (yayy!) I ended up choosing the chatooga because the Nolichucky is experiencing a drought. Maybe next time!
