Do cars rust if left ungaraged in the Asheville area?

Thanks in advance!

Technically speaking, yes. However, washing the car every few weeks (or even months), and more frequently in the winter, will pretty much make it a non-issue.

I'm more worried about the undercarriage. Do they salt the roads in the winter?

Yes, most typically a brine solution is sprayed on the roads prior to the snow event.

O.K. Thanks. then an undercarriage cleaning in the winter is necessary.

What make, model, year, mileage and where is your car 'coming from'?

Posting history, with similar questions, is literally all over the map.

Most car washes have 'under carriage' cleaning on the 'menu'. I choose it in any weather every time I go thru.
