Are there any nice hiking trails around either of these falls? If so, about how long/difficult are they?

Thanks.

What about Cliffside Lake area? Is that worth a stop to hike?

and one more question......

Is Whiteside Mountain worth a trip this time of year?

Heading in this direction later this week for about 5 days and need things to do to get out of cabin. We'll be staying at Devil's Fork but we've hiked most all trails around that area. We're looking for new scenery and something different.

Thanks.

I don't personally know of any trails, but have you been there? The terrain in that area is no joke. Mountains that create as many waterfalls as there are up there usually make hiking pretty strenuous..

Bridal Veil Falls is located in Dupont Sate Forest. Lots of graet hiking there:

Please ! do not hike near waterfalls in the winter.

We really don't want to spend tons of rescue $$$, and risk the lives of rescuers, to retrieve your bodies. Happens every winter.

Well, we've been to DuPont and loved that area and great hiking trails to say the least. We're looking for new places with new scenery. What's the name of those falls near Dry Falls? Isn't that Bridal Falls? Bridal Veil Falls? Bridal something. lol So there aren't any hiking trails close to those 2 falls? We're not looking for miles and miles....maybe something about 2-3 miles total....nothing too strenuous.

Is Whiteside Mountain too dangerous this time of year? It's only about 1 mile up and 1 mile down isn't it...maybe a little more?

Anywhere nice to drive around in the dead of winter? Can just anyone car drive around Sapphire Valley area around the slopes? Can we walk around any gift shops they might have there? It it worth a drive to see snow?

Thanks everyone.
