http://www.wataugademocrat.com Around 1130 today WCSD officers were responding to a welfare check upon arriving on scene suspect inside opened fire wounding 1 possibly 2 deputies reports vary. WSOC news chopper over scene reported 3 ambulances and a med chopper on scene. Multiple agencies are on scene entire area advised to stay indoors away from windows. Situation ongoing as of 30 minutes ago....

I read on Twitter that the other deputy died as well and the man killed his elderly parents and then killed himself around 11pm. Really sad and messed up.
Very sad news, I live in coastal South Carolina, but have traveled to the Blue Ridge/Boone , Nc area. Also i work in LE. I'm very sorry this happened there, and pray for peace and healing for all the families. It's very sad this type of thing is happening more in the United States across the country. The nation needs God. RIP Officers.
