My wife and I are looking into purchasing some property in Waynesville, where we hope to relocate our family in the near future. We have two children, a 6 year old and a 3 year old. The properties we are looking at are zoned for Hazelwood Elementary, Junaluska Elementary, and Jonathan Valley Elementary.
I have looked at the Great Schools, USNews, and Niche ratings, as well as a few others. But I'm more interested in the intangibles at this point more so than the metrics.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these schools they are willing to share? What are these schools' reputations to the locals?
If you have a facebook account, there are two Waynesville sites with lots of local input. You could join the sites and search the archives or post your questions. One is called I Love Waynesville North Carolina and the other is We Love Waynesville, NC.

Thanks for this info. While I don't use Facebook, my wife does. So, I'll have her check out these groups and see what information she can gather.
Again, thanks for your help!
