Me and my boyfriend are ready for a change and have been thinking about NC anywhere with mountains... the only thing is we are trying to figure out job options. Sadly all my background is in mortgages doing post closing, FHA insurance, title insurance and I do have my insurance claim adjustors lic and a floral degree (I get bored and go to school for odd stuff at times lol).. but I know the mortgage job market is not that great anywhere these days.
He does auto restoration, paint, airbrushing, custom mod's.. pretty much anything with a old or custom car or truck plus motorcycles.
So is there any type of decent market there for us? Thanks for anybody's help!!

Our largest mountain city is Asheville, so check there first. The unemployment rate in NC is high right now so I'm not saying you'll definitely find jobs. But do some searching to see what the possibilities are there first.
The housing market problems are not as severe in the Asheville area. A friend of mine has sold 4 houses just this month so there is some opportunity there.
For the motorcycles, not sure about that.
