My ancesters came from Buck Shoals. I can't find it, but know it's or {was} in the hills of Carolina. The last name was George. My great grandfather was a Preacher/Doctor and moved to Carteret County to the small commuity of Marshallberg and preached at the Star Church. My wife and I work on log homes and get to work in WNC quite often and each time I'm around anyboby I ask. Some say " I've heard of it", but don't know the location.
