Anyone know of a place in the greater Asheville area where I can buy a discounted wood stove?

Thanks in advance.

i researched on that, when I was in the area and had no success - but it always depends what kind of wood stove you are looking for.

we were interested in high efficiency and design and ended up online at this store European Designed Contemporary - wood stove and direct vent gas stoves.
ours is made in denmark and was 50 % off in march.
the website does not say a lot, but if you contact them, they will email you a price list.

I can't say anything about the quality (but did lots of research on european sites), since ours did not get delivered yet (have no house, have no lot, but a great stove to keep the bears and foxes warm this coming winter )

Cool, thanks for the info on that. I should have mentioned that I'm looking for an insert wood stove, as the freestanding ones take up valuable space.

Those are sharp though!

Contact Foothills Fireplace in Lynn, North Carolina (between Columbus and Tryon) and speak with the owner Greg McCarren. Greg is very knowledgeable about woodstoves and heating products in general and can give you honest advice.
