Help in making a desision (rent, house, school)

I have family in wichita, I tried to move there 6 months ago.
We found a good job and looked at housing.
I wanted to be near my family but the housing was so differant than what I am used to.
We lived on 80 acres in michigan. I did not expect to have 80 acres but I also was not wanting to have my neighbors eves dripping on my eves.

We since went to arkansas and built our home in the mountains.
I am not sure I want to sell this soon after the home is finished.
I think I could sell and make from 20 to 30k. I did a lot of work myself, and every one who has worked here just raves about the views. I have a 10 mile view from front and back of my house.
I was more thinking that I could shut down the house and rent a 1 bed 1 bath and my wife could go to work and I could go to school for IT.
We have a 40k a year income from investments but still need to work and save for our retirement. Our home is paid for so we would not have two house payments.
How is the title industry in wichita?

I worked in realestate title. I did not know there was an industry for car title. I did closings for 12 years and was a manager in an office for a time.
