My husbands's truck was stolen Friday morning April 20th. It was stolen in Wichita Ks. Right out of our driveway. It was stolen around the Harry and Meridian area. I am hoping if I give a discription someone may spot it. There is nothing better than the citizens awareness. It is a 2002 Silver Ford F-150. It has a dark gray cover on the bed. It has a 3-D Bass on the back window. It has a window decal that says" Fish Naked". It also has a fishing rod antenna. It has a front licence plate that says "Live 2 Race". We have filed a police report. This may not seem like a big deal to most but it means every thing my husband has worked for. You have those people who work so hard to be able to afford things they need. And then you have those who are too lazy to get a job so they just steal what they want. And the sad thing is the person who took this truck will probably trash it and steal someone else's when their done with it. And my husband gets to start all over again. What a wonderful life!! Thank you for reading this. Any information you may have, please send me an E-mail.
Thank You!!!

hi, I feel for you, when I was living for work in boston, my car was almost stolen. what saved it was i always was told to lock the steering wheel, i also had a lock. what they did it the time limit
pop the locks, and ignition, then time ran tight, it was an 86 honda. no time to full with the steering wheel. they may not trash it, it might be kids for a joy ride. now i lock my steering wheel, and have a siren alarm. oh, when my almost stolen car and i was home on an easter night, i heard a bang, and i was not tired.
i looked out my window, it was dark, and did not see my honda, some jerks filped it over. i called 911 and the police came, and i needed the car for work.
they were great and had the tow truck they used flip it over. it did end costing. my insurance guy also, and the honda place felt so bad, and fixed the car up. i wish you my best.

I had this happen to me. Hope you have comprehensive coverage because the chances of finding it in one piece is unfortunetly slim Thank God you are okay. My uncle was shot when his truck was being stolen in front of his home and he went outside to find out what was going on. He's okay. Most car thiefs don't steal for the money, they want the "joy ride." The kid who stole my vehicle was only 15.

Smile Thank you for your comments!

We do have insurance but the guy never showed up and will not return our phone calls. It is very frustrating! Come to find out, there was a drug bust a few blocks away and I guess there were cop cars lined all up and down our street and in our alley that night so I am thinking that maybe someone fled that scene and was hiding out in our neighborhood until the cops left and jumped in the truck and ran. It's probably half way to Canada or Mexico by now. We can't do anything for at least a month if the truck is not recovered. Then the insurance might do something. Ohwell, you just got to brush yourself off and get back up!
Any way I want to Thank you all for your comments and stories. I am glad that people still care!
Hope all is well for you!

This is serious. Being victimized by the insurance company is far worst than the theft itself. I would report it. Change insurance companies right away, there is no reason for them to ignore your calls!

Default Stolen Ford Truck

Hi,
We live in the country close to Hutchinson. Our F250 SuperDuty Truck was stolen right out of our shed on 11/18. So far there have been no leads. I was just curious as to if they ever found your truck?

That is one thing I like about living in Georgia. If you catch somebody breaking into your vehicle, you can legally shoot them dead. Down here your vehicle is considered an extension of your home.

For the most part, by the time you notice that your Ford trucks are gone, they are crossing the border at Del Rio. Same with Hutch and Liberal. As much as I hate to say it, I doubt that your truck will ever be seen again. It is likely running around in Mehiko with your Sedgewick county tag still on it.
