Vehicle stolen! Please Read!!

One year a man stole my 95 Taurus SHO from the drive way 10 feet from my front door. I too thought it was in mexico or in pieces..... 6 weeks later, 2 days after the insurance paid off I got a call at midnight saying, Mrs. houseslinger, we have your car.

I freaked... I thought they meant the one I had just bought. No.. it was the taurus. They had arrested the guy while he was breaking in to homes. Moron! It was trashed. No spoiler, no hubcaps, dents and paint sploches all over. I didn't even recognize it in the impound lot. I nearly cried.... I loved that car.

The kicker.... the guy stood there in court and told the judge I TOLD HIM HE COULD USE IT. OMFG I nearly jumped over the railing and strangled him. I never even let my daughter drive my car.

Oh well that's my story....hope yours is better.

That is one thing I like about living in Georgia. If you catch somebody breaking into your vehicle, you can legally shoot them dead. Down here your vehicle is considered an extension of your home.

same rule applies here in indiana if you see someone stealing your stuff Like a car or bike etc.. you can legally shoot them its called defensive property.
