The mayor of Williston is encouraging people to come to Williston, but the media who interview tend to leave out half of the interview where the mayor asks people to secure housing before they come. I've seen CNN and NBC news clips on TV where they have the mayor is quoted as "come to Williston" (but no mention of housing shortage...but then you go to the internet and find the FULL video clip where the mayor is warning people about ND severe winters and the housing shortage. So the mayor is telling the full story, but the media tends to sugar coat with the promise of thousands of jobs to the masses seeking employment. But in all seriousness, if people had half a brain, they would definately do their homework before coming up to Williston. It is no ones fault but their own if they didn't check on hotel reservations or secure housing.
Oh I saw the whole interview. The entire quote was "please come but wait til spring". I just wanted to know how y'all feel about the changing lanscape around you
