I am wondering what the laws are on kicking roomates out. I live in chippewa county. I have a boyfriend living with me who is not on the lease, does not pay rent, we have no written or verbal agreement about him paying rent, (he has no job), he does not receive any mail here or updated his mailing address anywhere pretty much because he doesn't want child support or other creditors finding him. He has been living with me for 3 months and we got into a big fight. I told him to get out and leave. He told me that this is his place of residence, so he gets to stay if he wants. What are the laws about this? Can I call the police and they can remove him since he is not on lease and does not pay me rent?
There are a lot of online resources related to tenancy laws. You will most likely be required to give him a minimum of 7 - 30 days written notice depending on your situation. Once someone lives in your home with your permission, especially for an extended period you have to follow the letter of the law to remove them. If there are any issues with violence or concern for your safety, you may be able to file a restraining order. At this point you may have the police remove him if he refuses to leave. This is a tough situation, but will only become worse if not resolved through the proper channels to do so. Good luck.

why don't you cut to the chase and just marry him?
I would contact a legal aid office. I believe their service is free for questions anyway. I know I saw this same type of situation on of all places Judge Judy some years ago. I was very surprised she actually said the occupant did have some rights in the matter.
I know like you I would want this person out of my house immediately. I would not put up with it even if I found out the person had any rights at all.
Why not give him a few dollars to go to the bar, and change the locks while he's out? Make sure to pile his stuff on the porch as well.
When he gets back, he'll have two choices:
a. getting charged with being drunk and disorderly if he throws a fit while you call the police
b. trying to convince the police that you're the bad one while he's drunk, trying to get in, and not on the lease
I like this idea the best, snorted coffee reading it.
she'll make up with him, they always make up with the guys who have attitude and act like rebels and fill their lives with drama. Just an observation I've noticed.
You will likely not be able to just kick him out and be careful as you will be dealing with Wisconsin's Domestic Violence law. The District Attorney will have a victims specialist who can help you or if you have a womens shelter they will have an advocate to help you out.
