Well I have 'itched and moaned for several months during winter even though it was the mildest winter I can remember and now it's summer and I am loving this weather. 100* in the 53204 even though I am closer to the 53202 which is 94* as we speak. Either way I am happy we are having this weather however I don't like working in this weather but once I am off of work and during night time 80's in the night is perfect. I didn't even put in my a/c unit this year. So who is loving this weather besides me? or who cannot stand this weather and wishes it was 2 years ago when we got like 24inches of snow? According to accuweather they say Racine is 107. 102 in Franklin right now as well. 3pm on July the 4th.

Happy Independence day!

Hey MC, I was lurking on Weather.com and right now in Middleton it is 105 degrees, 87 degrees in Wausau, 77 degrees in Two Rivers. I can't believe the difference around the state. Two River's 77 degrees sounds good right now! I like warm weather but man 105 is not comfortable. I'm glad your enjoying the weather as I know you like Miami type weather.

i cant believe it's warmer by our daughter in Madison area then it is down here lol. Of course for us, we only had a heat advisory when we hit air temps of 109 (twice) last week.... the warnings are stronger when the north gets a taste of this heat and humidity

I scratch my original post of 87 in Wausau. That was Wausau Florida! Wausau, Wisconsin is 96.

Two Rivers seems to really get a lake effect the most on the lake shore, I have noticed Manitowoc and Milwaukee has receiving the greatest lake effect but Two Rivers/Manitowoc is always 1st coldest or 2nd coldest temp, usually. I do love my Miami temp but I heard a stat the other day that Miami has never recorded a temp of 100 degrees, I don't know if it's true or not but I have heard that from several people before. We just got back from Bradford Beach in Milwaukee where the water was cold but not freezing cold and after about 5 min you didn't even notice it. We walked out to deeper water and it was cold water and the air temp seem to be around 70 degrees. It was almost too clod out there when we were up to out necks in water and once we got back on the beach it was hot again. It's amazing how big of a difference it makes just being 50yds or even 20yds out in the lake.

Current temp at 7:15 PM, Milwaukee's official temp is taken at Mitchell International Airport which sits lower and is near the lake. If it were taken on the west side of the city temps would be a lot higher and our city records would be different.

Default 79 here in Phoenix

I've spent a lot of the summer in Phoenix, where it has been more comfortable (to me). Today we had 79 for most of the day, although it rocketed to 81 at one point. We'll be back in the 100s the day after tomorrow, or maybe tomorrow.

Obviously this is not usual. I still have my hopes up for a nice autumn, so that I can push my Wisconsin time back by a couple of months, and spend some quality time there this year. So far the weather has been hot and dripping wet with humidity. Rough on my breathing and allergies. I spent quite a bit of time there in Spring, which was nice. But I have not been motivated to go to Wisconsin when it's hot and humid. I have hot and dry here, which, for me, is better.

Unfortunately, this weather anomaly has pushed my frequent flyer goal into the red. I have some serious flying to do or I'm going to drop a tier in FF status, and that, would kill my lifestyle quite a bit.

Hopefully everyone has a happy 4th up there! Stay cool.

Guess we in Wisconsin should've flown to Miami or Phoenix if we wanted a cool down!
