Hi! I recently moved to La Crosse. My husband is from Iowa and I'm from Poland. I was wondering if there is any Polish community or Polish club (or anything related to Poland) in La Crosse. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks!!

The above "zero interest" statement is not far off, but naszewisconsin.com is trying to change it Also, search for naszewisconsin on the social networking site nasza-klasa.pl. It currently connects over 460 Polish nationals who live in Wisconsin.

I know you asked for LaCrosse, also you may know this already, but there is a fest this summer in Milwaukee:

Milwaukee has Polish groceries, at least one restaurant, and a cultural center. Chicago has more, and is worth a yearly trip for Polish-language books, better groceries and sausages, a museum, and even a soccer store run by some Polish guys. Sorry, but I don't know of anything in your area.
