I think we are right in the middle of it.

The governor declared a state of emergency, but Waupaca schools have not declared a snow day.

10 inches overnight and another 10 during today. The wind is helping keep my driveway clear... not much shoveling needed! Schools are closed, so I get to spend a wonderful day with my son.

Can someone please tell me what is wrong with some people today? A physcho in Western WI has gone around shooting horses and cows. I think 11 animals have died so far. I hope they catch the b@stard... it makes me so mad.

Wow, What? I haven't heard anything about that. Well we have about a foot of snow on the ground here in Portage, more to come. I was supposed to be to work at 6 this morning. That's not happening!

Thanks Tet tea. That is sad, equine are such fragile animals when they're injured. I see a few cattle were shot too.

Unbelieveable story, geesh, what is wrong with them, you really wonder what their mentality is, if any??

Snow is still coming down like crazy, wind howling, heavy wet stuff, not good for power lines, tree limbs. My power was off for 1.5 hrs. but came back on fortunately.

Wow Susan sounds like you guys really have or had a nasty mix going on up over there. Its so peaceful out my window right now, blue skies, no wind. I would go out but the roads are icy.

Milwaukee city, That storm we got was a pita but now that its over the landscape is quite the treat. I'd rather have this stuff then rain and slush.

Well, I guess now we can say winter has finally arrived. But boy that stretch of nice weather we had was really nice (but now just a memory). Oh well.....

You're right, Sue, November sure did not prepare us for this, talk about jumping from the pan into the fire! No easing into winter this year usually we get a few small teaser snow falls first before a biggie!
