If you're responding to my posting, I know of Two Rivers, but I wouldn't want to have to drive to Manitowoc to do my shopping all the time. Two Rivers doesn't offer much in the way of shopping. I don't think I'd care for a city smaller then Manitowoc. Manitowoc is even a bit smaller then what I'm comfortable with, having lived in Madison for so many years.

I'd be afraid to visit a place called ManitoWAC.

Manitowoc looks like a pretty city, from the pictures here on this site.

I live in two Rivers , which is Manitowocs neighbor. It is a lovely area. I grew up here and have moved away a few times, always to return to the quiet and beautiful cities on the lake. as far as the weather goes, it's always variable like anywhere else. Sometimes very cold, sometimes very hot, but most times it's very comfortable. The people are friendly and helpful for the most part. We are the gateway to the peninsula, so we get quite a few tourists coming through, lots of fisherman come to the area to go out on the lake. We are close to Green Bay and Sheboygan , so it's not far to find other things to see and do. There are lots of small lakes for fishing, boating, waterskiing , rivers for canoeing, kayaking, etc. lots of spring, summer and fall festivals. great small town pride

Yes, but the Fox Cities area seems to offer more of what we're looking for overall, and it's still a short drive to come appreciate Lake Michigan.
