What is the height requirement for cops in the U.S.?

News, One tall cop and one not so tall cop posed for a memorable photo. And for good measure, the Internet is loving it.

If any departments in the U.S. have a height requirement, they are rare. They are more concerned about whether or not you can pass the physical agility test. Some may have a weight or body fat percentage requirement, but I think that's also rare. Many police departments will require you to run 1.5 miles in 13-16 minutes and complete a certain number of push-ups and sit-ups in one or two minutes. Some departments have obstacle courses or use the Concept2 Rower. In other words, they care more about your physical fitness than your size. Although, there are very small departments that don't test for physical fitness.

The short cop is 5-1 and the tall cop is 6-9.
