Unlike most of the posters, I would "respectfully" resign or retire. You never know what could happen to you in the future, so why unnecessarily burn bridges. The same people you see going up will be the same people you see coming down.

I love my job. I would totally stay and keep doing what I'm doing.

I would give a one-month notice and buy a lot of lunches for my fellow employees.

I don't understand people who would just keep working. Freed from work, I would indulge in many hobbies and travel extensively.

I have a pretty interesting job, so I'd try and renegotiate to sign on as a part time contractor as I'd just want to work less hours

I'll have a warm goodbye to everyone. Proper one month notice then treat them all to lunch on last day.

Unlike the seeming 98% of people who post on this section of the forum, who seem to forever be stuck in miserable jobs with miserable management and co-workers, who would seemingly love to strike back at all of them, I have good relations where I work. Winning millions doesn't change me as a person.

I would be noble and stay for two reasons, health insurance and not just screw working.
