Call me naive but....MEN meeting up in the bathroom to gossip and giggle is hard to imagine.

Never worked at a place where guys "gossip" in the bathroom. The guys that do gossip seem to be effeminate or metro, still retaining that highschool herd mentality.
Nobody keeps to themselves anymore these days, but I guess one's life has to be THAT boring and unfufilling to talk smack with lies.

People want to believe the gossip about you and will remember the negatives they heard far more often than the positives. Since the event the gossip these people have spead about me is now known by pretty much everyone in the office. My boss is starting to ask me questions.
As Herman Cain, just because someone accuses you of something you are held responsible. As the gossip has grown most people assume it has to be at least partially correct!
I definitely concur that the forum administrators should consider a Work and Employment sub-forum dedicated to "Workplace Bathroom Issues"
I respectfully disagree, which means I will not be using such words as "seriously?" , "really?" or "you've got to be kidding"! I disagree because these bathroom posts are just temporary, started by the infamous #2 thread, and haven't been thread subjects regularly. If one were to look back over the last year, I bet bathroom discussion was pretty much nonexistent except for the occassional post here and there.
