Democrat leaning cities seem to be the worst hit. Notice a correlation?

I live in San Antonio and it's a Democrat leaning city. Austin is the most liberal big city in Texas and it's doing the best.

Fresno is definitely not a Democrat leaning city either.

I don't think that Boston or Minneapolis are all that Republican, and they both seem to be doing well.

Omaha's electoral vote went to Obama in '08 and has had a Democrat mayor for a decade now. It has the lowest unemployment so I don't really see a correlation.
