The opportunity of a lifetime finally presented itself. I have a job offer with one of the top companies in my state, in my line of work. Starting shift will be midnights, but the pay is... I never dreamed I could be earning this at 25 years old! After years of hard work, many low paying jobs, missed time with the family, and being chewed up and spit out by employers... I think it is about to pay off. I nearly fainted when I got the call this morning. After talking with HR and telling them I would be in when it was most convenient for them, I decided to take the day off and enjoy the weather in the park. Life is beautiful again, and I don't much give a crap about anything right now

Folks, no matter how tough things get, happiness can be right around the corner. We might not even be expecting it, but all you can do it hope. I honostly like my current job. The pay is OK, but the hours are more than I think is sustainable long term. I couldn't be happier to finally have a change. I wish everyone luck, and encourage everyone to work hard no matter what their pursuit is. It may take years to realize the fruits of your labor, but it's out there somewhere.

At the youthful age of 25, your young life is just beginning my friend. Congrats to you for getting a great job at such an early age. Isn`t it amazing how a good job can make life "beautiful again"? Even the grass seems greener, the sky bluer, the air sweeter, and the birds seem to sing a happy song. You never realize how much a good job can affect your life so much. Enjoy your good fortune, I`m happy for you.

Andy, you earned this job through searching the old fashioned way, and through merit. Best to you!

Man, that's all true. Took a walk, read some books in the park, enjoyed the scenery. I was even a bit flirty with the ladies again I feel like a 25 year old is supposed to feel like again!

Anyways, I got another call at 4 PM. They asked when I could come in to shake some hands. Going in at 9 AM for a plant tour, and to talk to the foremen. Can't wait to put the wheels on my toolbox to good use

No, I am flying down this weekend to check out that job. Unless it is something spectacular, I doubt I will take it though. I rented the mustang though, so I will probably end up just enjoying the beach and chasing girls though I have never seen the machine shops begging for workers like I have seen in these past couple months though. The business men in this country have about destroyed my line of work, and now they are fighting for the scraps, haha...
