I've been getting tons of DM's about where to find work at home.

Mods if this is unacceptable, please delete this thread. I'm tired of getting DM's over and over - usually from someone who just signed up to DM me.

WAHM.com The Online Magazine for Work at Home Moms

It has a wealth of information and will show you where the jobs are. Most companies want experience. Search the site and look for telcommuting moms folder. It will have a thread for newbies.

There are call center jobs as well - but I cannot list them as they do have privacy concerns and they don't want their links being posted all over the place. Some - you need to pass a background check. I've worked them and still work 1. They require testing and training - It's not for everyone. You might have to pay for the background test. Things might have changed since I started with a certain company...

When applying for a work at home job - never come off as being desperate. Have a well written resume to send out...

There's jobs or businesses you can do. Selling items for companies. Like Candles, clothing, etc. Most of these are commission based.

I'm working my tail off doing Medical Transcripting and I do make excellent money, but I have experience.

There' are a few blogging sites that pay. Just check my link above and search out the forums.

It can take months and months to find a WAHJ - if you don't have patience, then you're best bet ── is to work outside the home.

Most of all ── never, ever pay for a job.....Or pay for lists of jobs - those are scams.

Hope this helps someone.

Please do not DM me.

Excellent post. Excellent advice.

I've visited the web site mentioned and was impressed. Very good site. Worth the visit if you're looking to work from home.
