Ummm, you didn't post a fax number, nor did you post an email or phone number so we can let you know you didn't post a fax number.

I guess your opening just isn't that important to have filled then. I only inquire about serious job openings.

It's clearly a CL posting. Click the link to contact them and tell them there isn't a fax number to reply to. If you don't get a response, it's probably a fake ad. That or someone just doesn't care about their job.

Simple fix.

And they posted that same ad twice with the same missing information...

The genius who posted the ad didn't post their email or phone number.

If you click the "Reply to this post" button, you should be able to send an email that goes back to the poster. CL allows for email anonymity for ad posters, but they will still get the email.

Exactly.

It happens. I can't tell you how many times I've sent emails indicating "See attachment" and I forgot to attach anything. D'oh moment.

A typo or forgetting to attach something to an email is one thing (at least you still know what the person is saying and you can respond to them if information is missing, after all they're human and make mistakes).

Telling someone to follow specific directions and not even giving them the tools to do so is entirely different. Yet at the same time you're going to nitpick at every single thing said person does wrong.

Well, if you feel strongly about that, then don't apply to that position. Fire them, so to speak.

I said I wouldn't apply in the OP. But I still wanted to rant about it.

I'm now waiting for someone to react to the ad the same way I did through a job posting on Craigslist (it happens).
