I am trying to find work at home if there are any options. So far nothing has come up.

Many of them first of all turned out to be a scam. While today was suppose to be more real required at least 2 years of college degrees what was being asked for at home.

Does anyone know of at Home Work that would not require more than a High school education like I have? And just mostly warehouse work. If anyone can be of any help I would appreciate it. I’m not planning on staying in the state and one reason I am not applying at places around but to keep me busy till we move. I get SSI for my disability. But money is not reaching far.

I am trying to get independent from government help. Does anyone have any links or ideas of kind? No I am not writing Dear Libby on this. She is more of a relationship talk show host approach on this one . Let Dear Libby do her work and I can find work of my own kind. Any suggestions may be of help hopefully.

Indeed.com and flexjobs.com are good places to find work at home opportunities.

In our small city there are a couple of thousand people working from home. Of those 2/3 are running their own business from home, most of the rest are employees of companies that allow telecommuting. They have company-provided computers and phones so they can work from home 3-5 days a week, and only have to report to the actual office twice a week to twice a month and for meetings. These people all had the job and worked at the office full time long enough to be trained and demonstrate their ability and work ethic before being allowed to work from home. As you found out, most advertised jobs that can be done at home are scams. There are people making a decent amount of money to supplement their income by selling things on e-bay, but you have to invest in the products before you can sell them. Sometimes you can get lucky and buy things cheap at garage sales and sell them for a lot more online, if you know what you are doing.

Teletech is a work from home company. They hire folks to work as customer service reps. The pay is hourly and super low, though. The website is teletech.com.

There are also a lot of freelance writer jobs out there, but those take a while to get going. I do this, and I make about $200/month...but I am not really all that serious about it...tend to do it as a time waster. And you start out making really low pay on most of the sites (less than a penny per word) and work your way up to about 1.5 cents per word....

Take a look at these as possibilities and do more research on your own. You can work from home, but you need to do diligent research on the subject to see what you can do to make money at home. It is possible, just make sure you know very well what you are getting into. The Internet is full of scams of any type, but this list below of companies have been checked out.

Source is syndicated talk radio host, Clark Howard (consumer advocate)

Good luck to you.
